Ghostwriters

I remember the first press release I approved. It had a quote by me. I asked our PR person: “When did I say that?” I naively thought a “quote” was a transcription of something I said. She said: “No,  executives don't write their quotes. We do. You can edit if you want.”

You can edit it if you want. I had received approval to convey my thoughts. Thanks!

Ghostwriting is a standard and absurd norm in business. As Issac Asimov said, “Writing is thinking with my fingers.” Why would anyone cheat themselves out of the opportunity to learn?

The job of a leader is to inspire. Why would anyone outsource the creation of words that might inspire?

We're all busy. But what's more important than sharing ideas?

After all, is there such a thing as a Ghostdad? A Ghostmom? A Ghosthusband? A Ghostskier? A Ghostfan? A Ghostdaughter? A Ghostson? A Ghostpet? A Ghostartist? A Ghostbestfriend?

Why would anyone cheat themselves out of the best parts of life?
